From a very young age Dad used to take me onto the Wimpy site where I used to sit in the office and look out at the Machinery.
I also have fond memories of when I was a child and it was school holidays, Dad used to wake us up with a cup of water in my face as Dad needed help with the daily chores!
I can also recall I passed my driving test at 18 that is when I became Dad’s Chauffeur taking him to meet his workmate Jim Jennings which we called Mr Angry! in the Black cat and the Enterprise on a regular basis.
And Lastly, I would like to say Thank you Dad for giving me a trade in Carpentry and spending many years on site with him I will cherish these memories until we meet again, God Bless x
